How Agar works: photo and receipt proof on every task
Proof, not promises
Anyone can say trusted or verified. Agar is built so you do not have to take anyone's word. Every task runs under your written authority, is carried out by a named agent, and closes with proof you can check from your phone.
One promise stands behind every task, and it is written down. You can read it below.
The four kinds of proof
Geotagged photo
A photo with location data, taken where the task happened (pickup_geotag).
Official receipt scan
Every official fee paid for you appears as a scanned receipt (official_receipt_scan).
Document scan
The paper we collected for you, scanned to your account (document_scan).
Stamped document scan
The stamp that shows the authentication step happened (stamped_doc_scan).
The money-back SLA
Each task has a published timeline. If Agar misses it for a cause within its control, the fee comes back to you. The rule, quoted from the published fee menu: "Service fee refunded if SLA missed for causes within Agar's control."
Agar does not promise outcomes, and it does not promise to change official processing times. Those belong to the offices that run them.
Questions about trust and proof
How do I know an agent is verified?
Every task names its agent. That agent works under your registered power of attorney, and each step is logged with proof in your account.
What proof do I get on an errand?
A photo from the scene, a scan of every receipt, and a short written note that closes the task.
What happens if something goes wrong?
You raise it on the task and a person answers. If the published timeline was missed for a cause within Agar's control, the refund rule applies without argument.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Agar makes exactly one promise, the money-back rule above. It does not promise outcomes and it does not promise official timelines.
Who actually does the work?
Agar's own agents in Addis Ababa and Adama. No task is passed to an unnamed middleman, and the agent's name is on the task record.
Can I talk to someone before I book?
Yes. Book a consultation and talk the task through first. A written scope and a fixed fee follow, and you decide after reading them.
