Privacy policy

This page tells you what personal information Agar collects, why we collect it, and where we keep it. Agar follows Ethiopia's data protection law (Proclamation 1321/2024).

What we collect

When you contact us, book a meeting, or open an account, we collect your name, email, phone number, and anything you tell us. This includes any files you send with your messages.

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to you and to do the tasks you ask us to do. We do not sell your information, and we do not move money between other people.

Where it is processed

Our computer servers are outside Ethiopia, in the United States or Europe. When you send us your information, you agree to let it be moved to these places.

Sensitive documents

Please do not send national IDs or power-of-attorney papers through the message thread yet. We will add a safe, locked way to handle these files later.

Email and Telegram notifications

When someone writes on one of your tasks, we send you a copy of the message by email, and you can reply directly from your inbox: your reply is added to the task conversation. These emails, and replies you send to them, are delivered and received through Resend Inc., whose servers are outside Ethiopia (US). Our staff may additionally receive task messages on Telegram. Attached files are never sent by email; they stay in your secure account. Each notification email uses a personal reply address that lets its holder post to that task conversation while the task is open, so please do not forward these emails. You can ask us to turn off message copies for your account at any time.

Retention

We keep your information only as long as we need it to help you and to follow the law. After that, we delete it.

Contact

To ask about your information or to have it deleted, please use the contact form.
