This notice explains what personal data Agar collects, why, and where it is processed. Agar handles your data in line with Ethiopian data-protection law (Proclamation 1321/2024).

What we collect

When you contact us, book a consultation, or open an account, we collect your name, email, phone number, and the details you send us, including any files you attach to messages.

How we use it

We use your data only to respond to you and to carry out the tasks you ask us to perform. We do not sell your data, and we do not move money between third parties.

Where it is processed

Our servers are hosted outside Ethiopia, in the US or EU. By submitting your data you consent to this cross-border transfer.

Sensitive documents

Please do not upload national IDs or power-of-attorney documents through the message thread yet. Secure handling for those, with encryption at rest, arrives in a later phase.

Retention

We keep your data only for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal obligations, then we remove it.
